Project Manager, Workplace

Location: San Francisco, California, United States. Four-day in-office work model with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Oversee one or more workplace projects, including schedules, budgets, fees, staffing, milestones, deliverables, and quality.
• Lead project teams and coordinate clients, vendors, external consultants, and design leaders.
• Develop project plans and monitor progress, financial performance, submittals, and client-directed changes.
• Support business development through RFQ, RFP, interview, scope, fee, and agreement activities.
• Maintain project information in management systems and communicate project status, risks, adjustments, and solutions.
• Provide leadership and performance feedback while contributing to project team recruitment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years as a project manager working specifically on workplace or office projects.
• Proficiency in Vantagepoint, Planifi, INDEPRO, Microsoft Suite, and Microsoft Project.
• High proficiency in standard A/E/I/P software and strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, technical plans, drawings, models, and sustainable design principles.
• Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, with the ability to multitask while maintaining quality standards.
• Working knowledge of local building and zoning codes; professional licensure is preferred but not required. Current portfolio or work samples in PDF format are required.
