What you will do

  • Grow hemostasis and wound closure platforms across an assigned physician and hospital territory.
  • Sell surgical solutions to surgeons, hospital decision makers, and healthcare professionals, primarily in operating room settings.
  • Demonstrate proper product use to clinicians and provide product, procedure, and clinical education.
  • Manage customer questions and objections while following product indications, sales methodology, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Plan account priorities, analyze sales opportunities and market information, and achieve assigned territory forecasts.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, authorized distributors, colleagues, marketing partners, strategic account managers, and key opinion leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years of relevant business experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales, with demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, time management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to execute professional, ethical, persuasive, and healthcare-compliant sales processes.

Nice to have

  • Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience, especially operating room sales.
  • Experience selling to highly educated or high-profile customer groups.
  • Experience developing new and innovative markets.
  • Strong sales performance, account targeting, daily action planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Team-oriented approach and experience working with distributors and key opinion leaders.
