Location: Los Angeles, California, United States of America. The role covers an assigned territory and requires regular hospital, operating room, and catheter-lab case coverage.
Base pay: $95,000–$152,950 per year. A competitive sales incentive compensation program and car allowance are also available.

What you will do
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Shockwave products across the assigned territory.
- Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare decision-makers to grow accounts and acquire new users.
- Educate customers through product presentations, demonstrations, and clinical discussions.
- Attend hospital procedures and catheter-lab cases, advising physicians and operating-room staff on product usage.
- Achieve quarterly and annual territory sales and revenue objectives.
- Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical, Marketing, R&D, and other business units to identify and develop selling opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of territory management experience in hospital-based life sciences, preferably cardiovascular; alternatively, 3 years of cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
- Experience with catheter technology, occlusive vascular disease, endovascular procedures, atherectomy, stents, or coronary sales is preferred.
- Ability to manage territory time, resources, budget, customer relationships, and multiple priorities independently.
- Must not be debarred by the FDA from working in a medical device business.
- Valid driver’s license required; ability to lift up to 25 pounds or more and tolerate prolonged sitting may be required.
Nice to have
- Cardiovascular, peripheral, or interventional sales experience.
- Experience with hospital operations, lead generation, market research, solutions selling, and medical device regulation.
