What you will do

• Develop, debug, characterize, and validate test programs and patterns for new product introduction and sustaining products.
• Convert test programs between automated test equipment platforms, including Diamond X, J750, and Uflex.
• Improve test hardware and software for cost effectiveness and support value engineering initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional engineering tasks for mature and new products and provide technical leadership on test hardware and software issues.
• Support contract manufacturers and work with customers to resolve technical and logistical concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of semiconductor IC development experience.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits from transistor to system level, semiconductor test techniques, IC packaging, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience developing ATE hardware and software, including test program development, platform migration, loadboard or DIB debugging, and silicon validation.
• Advanced statistical data analysis skills and proficiency with scripting, test development, version control, Linux/Unix, Windows, and bench laboratory equipment.
• Programming experience with C, C++, and VB; familiarity with Perl and tools such as YieldHub.
• Fluent spoken and written English, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work with globally distributed groups.

Nice to have

• Experience with new product test development, IC design, wafer fabrication processes, and loadboard schematic design.
