Financial Analyst, R&D Finance (Pharmaceutical)

Location: Hybrid in Sleepy Hollow, New York; onsite four days per week

Salary: $71,800–$116,800 annually

What you will do

• Support Research and Preclinical business partners with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Upload budget and forecast data using Hyperion.
• Track and project R&D capital expenditures, depreciation, service contracts, and cash outflows.
• Analyze operating expenses and prepare variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare accruals with Accounting and the hirify.global Genetics Center.
• Create and maintain financial models, analyses, reports, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• Two to four years of experience in financial analysis or accounting required.
• Pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or Big Four experience required.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with Hyperion or related EPM tools.
• Ability to build, train, and use AI models in day-to-day work.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• CPA, CFA, or CMA designation.
• Strong Excel skills, including SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, INDEX, and MATCH.
