Manager, FP&A, Global Commercial and Medical (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $109,200–$174,600 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Coordinate the consolidation, analysis, and submission of global Commercial and Medical budgets, forecasts, OPEX, and headcount plans.
• Support long-range planning, multi-year scenario modeling, launch readiness, and portfolio growth analysis.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, perform capital deployment and ROI analyses, and recommend ways to improve spend effectiveness.
• Prepare financial narratives, headcount analyses, and crosswalks between budgets, forecasts, and actuals for business reviews.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Financial Systems, IT, and business stakeholders to improve reporting governance and standardization.
• Support FP&A transformation through advanced analytics, visualization, AI-enabled workflow automation, and process digitization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial operations, or a related field.
• Experience with advanced analytical platforms and visualization tools.
• Strong Excel-based financial modeling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with tier-one ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and planning and reporting tools is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to automate FP&A processes and improve analytics is preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• FP&A experience in the global biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
