Construction Manager

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States. On-site work with travel to multiple construction sites.

What you will do

• Manage construction activity across homes under construction, completed unsold homes, site facilities, and the wider community.
• Coordinate on-site construction, subcontractors, trade partners, division departments, and city inspectors.
• Schedule trade partners, inspect work, manage material orders and deliveries, and allocate labor and equipment to maintain project timelines.
• Review project specifications, blueprints, and scopes of work while overseeing quality control and safety compliance.
• Conduct daily physical inspections, manage walkthrough items, resolve workforce and customer issues, and keep scheduling and payment systems current.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to five years of practical construction experience managing multiple projects.
• Knowledge of new home construction phases, local codes, construction methods, and construction materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply job-site safety practices.
• Strong organizational, management, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work around variable weather, noise, dust, machinery, and other job-site hazards.
