Planning and Scheduling Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS-Cullen HQ); on-site role

What you will do

• Lead and develop the planning and scheduling team across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Own the capacity-aligned Master Production Schedule and coordinate production plans with project timelines and delivery commitments.
• Manage MRP functionality, demand signals, planning parameters, and ERP data accuracy.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, and Configuration Control on schedules, materials, priorities, and execution risks.
• Monitor material shortages, inventory readiness, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery metrics.
• Standardize processes and drive continuous improvement across planning, scheduling, warehouse coordination, and ERP/MRP execution.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in production planning and/or scheduling in an engineer-to-order environment.
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience and proven team development capability.
• Strong experience as a key user of MRP/ERP systems, with advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP and P6.
• Experience managing planning and scheduling in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, warehouse operations, material flow, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
• Bachelor of Science or technical degree; extensive industry or military experience may substitute for a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infor LN.
• Experience implementing or managing MPS-driven scheduling environments.
• Experience standardizing processes across multiple locations.
