Production Scheduler (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Build and maintain rate-driven production schedules for an assigned work center and at least six upcoming missions.
• Forecast material needs, capacity, production rates, shortages, and constraints across multiple builds.
• Model production scenarios and coordinate hardware allocation across new and refurbished equipment.
• Partner with manufacturing teams and internal suppliers to achieve daily and weekly production objectives.
• Coordinate hardware flow through shared resources and negotiate priorities across departments.
• Automate scheduling, manufacturing, and supply chain processes while leading capacity analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of experience in manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations, or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Experience with technical tools such as MS Office, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex production priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to export-controlled information may require eligibility under applicable U.S. Government export-control requirements and, where applicable, a security clearance or other government authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or related continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex or strategic initiatives.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
