Site Superintendent (HVAC)

Location: Virtual position associated with Davidson, North Carolina; onsite field activities and approximately 75% travel are required.

Annual salary: $97,406.66–$135,834.99, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Coordinate job-site logistics, daily work activities, customer interactions, subcontractors, and project progress.
• Direct and organize subcontracted construction crews, provide installation guidance and training, and maintain quality expectations.
• Review drawings, specifications, project schedules, budgets, and installation scopes to identify risks and milestone impacts.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, investigate customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and document deficiencies and punch-list items.
• Maintain onsite safety standards and communicate project status, decisions, and risks to the Project Manager and contracting team.
• Perform equipment startup and commissioning while supervising validation contractors.

Requirements

• Associate degree or accredited apprenticeship in engineering technology such as refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical, plus 5 years of construction-industry experience; alternatively, a high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration.
• Proficiency reading plans and specifications and familiarity with project schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Projects, and SharePoint.
• Ability to travel approximately 75% and perform onsite field activities.
