Architect - Enterprise AI

Location: Hybrid near the Memphis, Tennessee or Coppell, Texas offices; remote work may be available for highly qualified candidates in other U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation patterns for AI, agentic AI, and AI-enabled applications.
• Partner with architecture, engineering, data, security, business, and technology stakeholders to evaluate use cases and architectural tradeoffs.
• Design reusable patterns for AI gateways, MCP integrations, agent orchestration, enterprise knowledge access, retrieval architectures, and AI platform services.
• Establish guidance for AI security, identity, authorization, governance, compliance, policy enforcement, evaluation, observability, monitoring, and cost management.
• Support AI development lifecycle practices through architecture reviews, standards, reference implementations, and implementation guidance.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and reference implementations that help scale AI capabilities into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, systems integration, software engineering, or related technology disciplines.
• Experience designing and implementing AI, generative AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology governance practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, application integration, enterprise security, and modern software architecture patterns.
• 5+ years of leadership, team lead, or architecture influence experience, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Bedrock, MCP, AI gateways, LangGraph, LangChain, RAG, and agentic AI platforms.
• Architecture and implementation experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and scalable AI infrastructure.
• Knowledge of large language models, vector databases, agent frameworks, AI observability, responsible AI, governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience creating reusable enterprise frameworks, accelerators, and architecture guidance.
