What you will do
- Own the end-to-end architecture across client engagements from discovery to go-live.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, translating business needs into AWS solutions.
- Lead security reviews, compliance, and quality gates to ensure project momentum.
- Provide cross-system context to Solution and Technical Architects to maintain enterprise-level coherence.
- Develop business cases, ROI models, and support pre-sales activities.
- Create and maintain standardized governance, playbooks, and repeatable AWS account setup processes.
Requirements
- Must be based in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario, Canada.
- 8+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience with depth in core services.
- 5+ years designing and governing secure, scalable, highly available systems.
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and outcomes in professional services.
- Experience navigating regulated enterprise environments, security reviews, and compliance.
- TOGAF certification or equivalent formal enterprise architecture framework experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with Amazon Connect, CCaaS, or Salesforce integration.
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Specialty certifications.
- Experience with AI/ML services like Amazon Q, Bedrock, or SageMaker.
- Multi-cloud experience (Azure or GCP).
