Enterprise Architect (AWS)

Location: Remote within Canada, limited to Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario. Certain roles may require travel of up to 25%.

What you will do

• Own enterprise architecture across client engagements from discovery through go-live.
• Translate business goals into AWS architecture and serve as the primary client contact for technical strategy.
• Lead security reviews, compliance activities, approval gates, quality reviews, and architecture documentation.
• Coordinate Solution and Technical Architects to maintain coherent cross-system designs.
• Run discovery, develop modernization business cases and ROI analyses, and support pre-sales estimates and executive discussions.
• Establish governance standards, reusable playbooks, greenfield AWS account processes, and client relationship oversight across multiple engagements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on AWS architecture experience across core AWS services.
• 5+ years designing and governing secure, scalable, highly available systems in complex organizations.
• Experience owning client relationships and outcomes, including work with regulated enterprise clients.
• Consulting or professional services experience with strong executive and stakeholder communication skills.
• TOGAF certification or equivalent practical experience with a formal enterprise architecture framework.
• Must work remotely from Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario, Canada.

Nice to have

• Amazon Connect, CCaaS, or AWS and Salesforce integrations such as Connect and Service Cloud Voice.
• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or relevant Specialty certification.
• Experience with Amazon Q, Bedrock, SageMaker, or other AI/ML services.
• Azure or GCP experience alongside a primary AWS focus.
