Advanced Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Remote in the United States, Texas location specified. Full-time schedule with 10% travel required.

Salary: $116,800–$219,000 USD per year in the US, or $91,661–$161,700 CAD per year in Canada, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and AWS services.
• Build secure APIs, backend services, responsive web interfaces, data-driven applications, and analytics dashboards.
• Process complex datasets and implement data models, ETL processes, integrations, and data-quality controls.
• Develop reporting and analytics solutions using platforms such as SSRS, Power BI, and Amazon QuickSight.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, cloud-native development, testing, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and stakeholders while troubleshooting defects, data issues, and production incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, SQL, and data-centric application development.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ETL and data integration tools such as SSIS or AWS Glue.
• Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, RESTful APIs, Git, software design patterns, and automated testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, domain-driven design, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with NGRX, RxJS, NX, micro-frontends, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, or SOA.
• Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, AI-driven solutions, or AI-assisted coding.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Agile/Scrum environments.
