Senior Product Manager (Mortgage Fintech)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $114,593–$195,400 per year

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for a defined product area within the mortgage lending origination platform, from discovery through delivery and iteration.
• Conduct customer interviews, analyze product usage, and collaborate with financial institution partners to identify high-value problems.
• Write product requirements documents and user stories, lead agile delivery ceremonies, and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned with team objectives.
• Define and monitor product KPIs, using analytics to guide prioritization and demonstrate business impact.
• Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, Customer Success, Compliance, and other product managers to align stakeholders and deliver improvements.
• Identify opportunities for AI/ML-assisted decisioning, intelligent automation, API extensibility, and API-first user experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant product management experience.
• Experience owning a product area end to end, including discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
• Experience managing API-integrated software products with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, modern product discovery practices, and product analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and align stakeholders.
• Customer empathy and experience translating user insights into shipped product improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience with mortgage lending, loan origination systems, or financial institution software.
• Familiarity with API and integration products and developer needs.
• Experience applying AI/ML in product contexts.
• Experience working with or selling to banks, credit unions, or other regulated financial institutions.
• Knowledge of consumer lending regulations, including TILA, ECOA, fair lending, and CFPB guidance.
