Asset Management Sr. Analyst, Accounting and Finance (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead accounting and finance activities for capital and fixed assets across multiple locations and entities.
• Oversee financial close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, financial reporting, and SOX compliance.
• Manage fixed asset records, capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, SAP settlements, and physical inventories.
• Review capital requests and coordinate quarterly and annual capital forecasts from project inception through asset retirement.
• Present capital expenditure, depreciation, variance, and control information to senior management, stakeholders, and auditors.
• Improve fixed asset processes, standardize workflows, automate manual tasks, and lead the fixed asset accounting group.

Requirements

• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience using financial systems, ERP platforms, fixed asset management software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret large amounts of financial data, maintain data integrity, and implement process improvements.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Fixed asset accounting experience, including capitalization, depreciation, impairments, disposals, transfers, leases, and assets under construction.
• CPA certification, public accounting experience, automotive experience, and strong SAP knowledge.
