Field Service Engineer

Location: Athens, Georgia, United States; field work at customer sites with travel required, including occasional overnight travel. Initial training requires consecutive weeks in Wood Dale, including weekends.

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 USD per hour, plus eligibility for incentive pay.

What you will do

• Provide ongoing service and support for customer equipment.
• Install products and IT solutions at customer locations.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing, diagnose system failures, and implement cost-effective repairs.
• Escalate complex technical issues and contribute to quality reporting.
• Build customer relationships, assess needs, manage expectations, and promote service agreements and newer technologies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of technical experience.
• Basic computer and technical proficiency, including email, software, mobile applications, and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform manual work, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel and consecutive-week initial training in Wood Dale.
• Compliance with customer PPE, safety, and registration requirements.
