Field Service Technician 2 (Mailing and Document Systems)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, United States; hybrid work with frequent travel to customer sites, up to 100%

What you will do

• Install, service, upgrade, configure, and test mailing systems, document systems, parcel lockers, addressing systems, and related software.
• Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot hardware, electronic components, controls, embedded software, and business applications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair equipment at customer locations.
• Train and guide customers on product operation and maintenance.
• Communicate progress during maintenance or system outages and provide technical recommendations.
• Manage service tools, replacement parts, and equipment inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in customer service and electrical or mechanical installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and schematics and diagnose equipment issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales, and technology teams and work independently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently to customer sites.
• Ability to lift or move 50 pounds with or without accommodation within OSHA guidelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with mail-related equipment or parcel lockers.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mid-level and advanced equipment.
• Experience mentoring or training junior technicians.
