Manager, Financial & Regulatory Reporting

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; on-site work required

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Prepare and review SEC filings, audited financial statements, earnings materials, footnotes, and supporting documentation.
• Apply US GAAP, SEC requirements, XBRL, and regulatory guidance to develop accurate disclosures.
• Research complex financial reporting matters and identify practical accounting solutions.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and the internal control environment.
• Improve financial reporting processes and resolve issues with accounting, finance, treasury, legal, investor relations, and technical accounting stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• 5+ years of US GAAP accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Recent experience preparing SEC filings, public-company financial statements, and financial statement footnotes.
• Knowledge of financial and regulatory reporting, SEC requirements, XBRL, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant license.
• Public accounting or financial services accounting experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Adobe Acrobat, or Workiva Wdesk.
• Experience with process improvement and internal control evaluation in financial reporting.
