Senior Financial Analyst, SOX Compliance

What you will do

• Ensure financial controls are executed in line with SOX requirements.
• Partner with Program Finance leadership to present process changes to the SOX Committee and maintain current SOX narratives.
• Lead the annual SOX audit process, including auditor walkthroughs and documentation for Study Budget and Study Requisition approval controls.
• Advise Program Finance and Global Development teams on SOX controls for study budgets and requisitions.
• Review analyst documentation, identify control gaps, and recommend practical process improvements.
• Maintain approved budget data, approval workflows, Hyperion information, and QlikView dashboards supporting clinical trial finance and SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, forecasting, budgeting, and/or business partnering.
• Experience spanning both audit and finance functions, ideally in a science- or research-driven organization.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Ability to meet the onsite expectations for the role and location.
