Senior Financial Management Analyst (USSF SWAC)

Location: Daily on-site work in a Colorado Springs, Colorado SCIF

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Collect, validate, update, and report financial execution data across SWAC decision-support tools.
• Build and maintain resource models, Excel-based analytical tools, database queries, spending forecasts, and customized metrics.
• Manage classified, multi-source funding streams and translate operational requirements into prioritized, funded portfolios.
• Prepare, coordinate, transmit, and track MIPRs, interagency agreements, and other funding documents through enterprise systems such as DEAMS.
• Research fiscal policies and prepare senior-level memoranda, budget execution reviews, position papers, executive charts, and briefing materials.
• Monitor program spending, contractor burn rates, major contracts, and component requirements to support fiscal decisions.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of hands-on financial management experience in the Department of War/Defense or Intelligence Community, preferably with Air Force or Space Force programs.
• Experience building and executing obligation and expenditure plans, fiscal year-end closeouts, and financial process improvements.
• Recent operational experience with DAF/DoW systems including DEAMS, CCaR, DAI, SAFES, DTS, and WAWF.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, database output manipulation, and custom tool development.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance is required on day one; ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph is also required.
• U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, and willingness to work daily on-site in a Colorado Springs SCIF are required.

Nice to have

• DoD FM Certification Level II or III, CDFM, CGFM, or an equivalent test-based credential.
• Degree in mathematics, engineering, or the sciences.
• Direct Air Force or Space Force program office or headquarters experience.
