Director, Talent Management & Development (Biotechnology)

Location: Concord, MA (Boston Metro only)

Base compensation: $215,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition and develop hiring strategies aligned with workforce and business needs.
• Build and measure onboarding, learning and development, leadership development, and manager development programs.
• Enhance the applicant tracking system, recruiting workflows, reporting, and analytics.
• Partner with managers on development plans, career growth, talent management, and succession planning.
• Drive performance management practices focused on accountability, continuous feedback, growth, and results.
• Use talent metrics, market trends, and organizational capability assessments to improve talent programs and support HR initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, and human resources.
• Experience implementing, managing, and optimizing applicant tracking systems.
• Experience using talent analytics and data for strategic workforce and talent decisions.
• Strong coaching, influencing, facilitation, communication, project management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a small to mid-sized organization.
• Adaptability, resilience, continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for developing people and scaling organizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in growth-stage companies, including scaling teams, processes, and capabilities.
• Biotechnology, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
