Commercial Project Controls & Coordination Manager

What you will do

• Establish and maintain integrated project schedule baselines, milestone forecasts, variance analysis, and three-week lookahead reconciliation.
• Own project cost baselines, commitment tracking, actual cost capture, cost-to-complete forecasting, earned value reporting, and payment application reviews.
• Manage change order logs, independently assess schedule and cost impacts, and track cumulative changes against delegated authority thresholds.
• Abstract EPC contract terms, maintain warranty and delivery risk registers, and identify baseline exposures and mitigation actions.
• Maintain punchlist, RFI, submittal, nonconformance, equipment, and document-control registers with complete closure evidence.
• Produce weekly and monthly reporting, coordinate delivery meetings, track actions to closure, and build dashboards and automation for exception reporting.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling within construction, energy, or infrastructure.
• Ownership of schedule baselines and earned value reporting on capital projects.
• Working knowledge of EPC commercial terms, including milestone payments, retainage, liquidated damages, and change authority.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to report unfavorable variance accurately and perform coordination and document-control work personally.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Solar PV or battery energy storage construction controls experience.
• AACE PSP, CCP, or EVP certification.
• Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, or Python for reporting automation.
• Experience building controls functions and durable tooling in SharePoint-constrained environments.
