Project Controls Scheduler (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Houston, Texas, USA; remote work is mentioned, but the role is based at GigaEnergy HQ with regular travel to active construction sites across Texas and California.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integrated, resource-loaded Level 3/4 master schedules across engineering, procurement, vendors, construction, and commissioning.
• Track critical paths, schedule variance, schedule performance index, project progress, and recovery actions.
• Create what-if scenarios to accelerate delivery and reduce schedule and cost risk.
• Coordinate modular equipment delivery, site readiness, permitting, utility coordination, construction sequencing, and commissioning handoffs.
• Support field teams with three-week look-ahead schedules and validate contractor schedules against master schedule logic.
• Facilitate schedule reviews, communicate risks, and prepare executive-ready dashboards and schedule documentation in Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent hands-on project controls experience.
• 7+ years of scheduling experience on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, mining, government, or oil and gas construction projects.
• Required proficiency in Primavera P6, including expert-level CPM schedule development, logic tying, and resource loading.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for schedule analytics, milestone tracking, earned value calculations, and scenario modeling.
• Deep knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and Earned Value Management, with experience in schedule reporting, compression, and mitigation.
• Ability to work from the Houston-based HQ or under an agreed remote arrangement, with regular travel to Texas and California construction sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with modular or prefabricated construction, module sequencing, skid-based delivery, or PEMB procurement.
• Background in data center construction, energy infrastructure, or substations.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud or comparable common data environments.
• PMI-SP or AACE PSP certification, or active progress toward certification.
• Experience with Texas or California permitting, utility coordination, and de-annexation processes.
