Power Solution Architect (Electrical Power Systems)

Location: Remote within the United States; travel is required. The role supports the Central Region, including Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin.

What you will do

• Provide technical pre-sales support for regional sales, business development, proposals, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams.
• Develop scalable, standards-compliant electrical power system architectures.
• Evaluate power equipment and components, recommend alternatives, and optimize designs against technical and commercial criteria.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams to refine customer solutions.
• Represent the organization at industry events, mentor teams, and support technical training and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a master’s degree or PE license is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in power system architecture.
• Experience with electrical power-distribution OEM equipment.
• Expertise in UL and IEEE standards and relevant industry practices.
• Knowledge of microgrid applications, power equipment sales, commercial collaboration, innovation leadership, and vendor engagement.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
