Chief People Officer (AI)

Location: St. Louis, MO; on-site

Compensation: $80–$125 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide HR and people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design and oversee talent acquisition, retention, succession planning, and leadership development frameworks.
• Shape organizational culture, employee engagement, and DEIB initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
• Ensure compliant HR operations and manage performance metrics.
• Advise the CEO and executive team on workforce strategy, compensation design, and performance architecture.

Requirements

• 15+ years of HR experience with progression into senior leadership roles such as CHRO or CPO.
• Experience driving organizational transformation, culture evolution, and people strategies linked to business outcomes.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to partner with CEOs and boards.
• Experience building human-centric, AI-enabled workplaces and using modern workforce models.
• Comfort working across technology, professional services, healthcare, financial services, and other sectors.
