Associate Field Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States; on-site

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers from evaluation through production.
• Understand customer architectures, use cases, and requirements to develop solutions and influence the product roadmap.
• Build customer-health monitoring resources and identify risks and expansion opportunities.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support across the AI and machine learning ecosystem.
• Build processes, documentation, and tooling to scale and automate support, success, and outreach initiatives.
• Partner with Sales on technical discovery, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and customer feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and enterprise software integrations.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with embeddings, similarity search, recommendation systems, and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or another popular programming language.
• Entry-level opportunity for new graduates and early-career professionals based on-site in New York City.

• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
