Early Career Software Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Mountain View, California or Los Angeles, California

Salary: Estimated base salary of $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is building an AI-native healthcare operating system spanning ambient documentation, intelligent agents, revenue cycle management, and clinical workflows.

What you will do

• Build product features across web, mobile, and backend applications, including offline-first experiences for healthcare professionals.
• Develop reliable APIs, backend services, and data processing pipelines for high-volume clinical and healthcare data.
• Build AI inference, orchestration, fallback, retry, asynchronous workflow, and evaluation infrastructure.
• Improve monitoring, observability, alerting, debugging, performance, reliability, and application stability.
• Design internal tools that improve engineering productivity and production operations.
• Work with product, design, clinical, engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand real-world problems and ship solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, with recent or upcoming graduation.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, networking, or distributed systems.
• Experience building software through internships, research, open-source projects, coursework, startups, or personal projects.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and debug problems across multiple system layers.
• Strong ownership, communication, problem-solving, and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.
• Care for reliability, performance, production quality, and user impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Dart, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, React, or native mobile platforms.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, cloud object storage, Kubernetes, containers, distributed queues, or data processing pipelines.
• Experience with LLM inference, AI orchestration, evaluation infrastructure, monitoring, logging, tracing, or automated testing.
