Sr. Program Manager, Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, USA; hybrid with 2–3 days per week onsite

Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Own complex, cross-functional engineering programs from concept through measurable delivery.
• Align roadmaps, sequencing, dependencies, staffing, and commitments across technology and engineering organizations.
• Lead quarterly and annual strategic planning and provide executive updates on program health, risks, and decisions.
• Resolve roadmap conflicts, anticipate dependencies, mitigate risks, and build accountability across distributed teams.
• Build AI-powered workflows, dashboards, agents, and automated reporting integrated with Jira, GitLab, monitoring, and infrastructure systems.
• Mentor junior program managers and drive reusable AI practices across engineering.

Requirements

• US citizenship or Green Card holder status required.
• 12+ years of experience driving complex, cross-functional engineering programs in fast-moving, high-scale environments.
• Experience with executive-level influence, organizational strategic planning, roadmap ownership, and cross-functional alignment.
• Technical credibility across infrastructure, cloud, reliability, developer tooling, or operational excellence.
• Working knowledge of Go, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience using AI technologies, automation, agents, and integrations to improve decision-making, workflows, and business outcomes.

• Experience at a hyperscaler or high-growth technology company.
• Background in incident management, business continuity, or operational readiness at scale.
• Experience driving organization-wide AI tooling adoption.
• Exposure to regulated or government cloud environments.
• Cybersecurity or security-adjacent engineering experience.
