Full Stack Associate Software Engineer (UF Only)

Location: Miami, United States; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to be based in Miami.

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 annual base salary, plus equity incentive and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and ship full-stack features across React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Work across migrations, APIs, interfaces, and tests, progressing toward end-to-end feature ownership.
• Use AI coding agents and take full responsibility for reviewing and explaining their output.
• Write and maintain tests across the stack as part of the delivery process.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews, including reviewing other engineers’ work.
• Build secure features for protected health information with authentication, authorization, and audit logging.

Requirements

• Graduation with a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and comfort with React or Node.js.
• Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and the relationship between web requests and database queries.
• Experience building independent projects, hackathon work, open-source contributions, or products with real users.
• Experience using AI coding tools and the ability to evaluate their limitations and output.
• Authorization to work in the United States and ability to be based in Miami.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience shipping software to production.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Express, typed API layers, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
• Experience building tools, harnesses, evaluations, or agents using LLM or agent APIs.
• Exposure to AWS or another cloud provider.
• Curiosity about FHIR, HL7, DICOM, accessibility, or internationalization.
