Solution Consultant - Digital Infrastructure

Location: United States; ideally the Greater Chicago Metro area. Remote work is indicated, with 50%+ domestic and international travel required.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year, plus benefits and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales to develop outcome-based solutions for industrial and enterprise customers.
• Define infrastructure requirements, create designs, bills of materials, single-line diagrams, and logical network hierarchies.
• Develop converged IT/OT network solutions using hirify.global products, services, service-level agreements, and qualified third-party solutions.
• Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-value activities, and proof-of-concept collaboration with the Customer Innovation Center.
• Transition accepted designs and proofs of concept to Commercial Operations and PMO execution teams.
• Provide technical content, customer reporting, market feedback, and input into product development and marketing materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or 8+ years of related experience.
• 8+ years of consultative pre-sales experience in enterprise or industrial environments.
• Proven expertise in OT/IT infrastructure design and implementation, including copper or fiber networks and wireless or WLAN/WAN networks.
• Strong knowledge of network communication systems, related applications, technology trends, and competitor solutions.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Product Development.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally 50% or more.

Nice to have

• Experience with AIA MasterSpec, CAD, Bluebeam, and estimating tools.
• RCDD, DCDC, CDCP, or other ICT/IT/OT certifications.
