Claremont Fiber Equipment Reliability Manager

What you will do

• Supervise Process Control Technicians and provide technical leadership for equipment reliability and process improvement.
• Lead reliability initiatives and projects to improve equipment uptime, effectiveness, safety, and production readiness.
• Analyze production losses, maintenance costs, equipment operation data, and failure modes to prioritize recurring asset issues.
• Lead equipment failure investigations and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and refine preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and oil analysis.
• Collaborate with Automation, Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams on equipment changes, commissioning, breakdown resolution, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, or a related field.
• At least five years of manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance experience.
• Strong data analysis, statistical tools, mechanical and electrical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge and consistent use of Lean tools, including 6S, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence.
• Experience with reliability and problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis, FMEA, and 5-Why.
• Ability to coordinate diverse personnel, communicate complex topics clearly, make decisions, and facilitate change.

Nice to have

• Lean/Six Sigma certification.
