SaaS Product Implementation Program Manager (AI, Public Sector)

Location: Reston, VA, United States (On-Site/Hub). This role supports US government contracts and requires either US citizenship or US permanent residency, depending on the project. The role may also require the ability to obtain and maintain a US government Top Secret security clearance.

Salary: $117,000–$175,000 USD per year, plus annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead complex, multi-year SaaS implementation programs for federal agencies and government contractors.
• Manage planning, delivery, customer success, budgets, risks, and performance KPIs.
• Develop structured and repeatable program methodologies for government, defense, and aerospace implementations.
• Align execution with federal and GovCon client operating models and serve as a key stakeholder liaison.
• Lead internal and client-facing cross-functional teams in compliance-driven environments.
• Drive post-implementation analysis and continuous improvements to future delivery cycles.

Requirements

• 8+ years of digital program or project management experience in Federal, GovCon, or Aerospace and Defense environments.
• Proven success managing large, complex technology implementations in the public sector.
• Knowledge of federal, GovCon, or A&D program management structures and execution frameworks.
• Experience with ITAR, DFARS, or NIST compliance in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with AI-powered solutions and ways of working is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; strong leadership, organizational, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.

• PMP or related professional certification.
