Cardiac Diagnostic Reimbursement Specialist

What you will do

• Create patient records and process new medical orders from hospitals and physician offices.
• Verify insurance benefits, determine clinical eligibility, and identify qualifying diagnoses.
• Obtain medical documentation and payer authorizations for LifeVest services.
• Triage intake orders and faxed documents, resolve issues, and follow up on assigned tasks.
• Explain medical necessity and the LifeVest system to insurance case managers.
• Communicate order status and authorization results with sales representatives, customers, physician offices, and internal departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• At least 2 years of insurance verification experience, or at least 1 year of experience supporting medical providers or patients in a phone queue for internal candidates.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems, manage simultaneous tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing, business, or a related field.
