Dispensing Specialist - M-F 1 pm - 9:30 pm

hirify.global develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions, including the LifeVest wearable defibrillator.

What you will do

• Create patient records and verify insurance benefits for new medical orders.
• Review medical orders, clinical documentation, payer requirements, and patient qualifications to make LifeVest dispensing decisions.
• Explain medical necessity and educate insurance case managers to obtain service authorizations.
• Identify missing documentation, submit materials to insurance carriers, and follow up on coverage determinations and assigned tasks.
• Communicate authorization results and order status to sales representatives, customers, physician offices, and internal departments.
• Complete fee calculations and provide appropriate charges to the billing department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of insurance verification experience, or at least 1 year of experience supporting medical providers or patients in a phone queue for internal candidates.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple software systems, multitask under strict deadlines, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to communicate policy information clearly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing, business, or a related field.
