Grad Intern – Digital Product – Amgen’s Technology & Medical Organizations (Summer 2027)

Location: Remote within the United States; must be located and authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship

Salary: $35.34–$41.20 per hour

What you will do

• Support discovery, strategy, and delivery of digital products addressing business and scientific problems.
• Analyze stakeholder needs, customer journeys, business processes, and relevant data.
• Create problem statements, personas, journey maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog recommendations.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, launch preparation, and post-launch learning.
• Assess product performance and identify adoption or user-experience gaps using qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions and contribute to product roadmaps and strategic narratives.

Requirements

• Must be available to work full time and remain enrolled in an accredited college or university after the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years old, hold a bachelor’s degree, and be enrolled in the relevant first-year MBA, master’s, PharmD, or PhD program before the internship starts.
• Must be located in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.
• Preferred fields include information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Preferred qualifications include project management, analytical and quantitative skills, and proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL.
• Preferred knowledge includes Agile/Scrum, SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, cloud applications, and enterprise systems.

Nice to have

• One or more years of relevant work experience.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health care industry experience.
• Coursework in business systems analysis, Lean, web design and development, IT management, B2B collaboration, ERP, or CRM systems.
