Summer Associate Internship (Product Strategist) (Fintech)

Location: Vienna, VA, United States (Hybrid); Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

What you will do

• Research member, market, and industry trends to identify product growth and experience opportunities.
• Support product strategy through competitive analysis, benchmarking, business cases, and recommendations.
• Analyze product, business, and member data to develop actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
• Design, document, and evaluate pilots, test-and-learn initiatives, and experimentation frameworks.
• Explore applications of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in products, processes, and decision-making.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, reports, and executive-ready materials while collaborating with product, analytics, marketing, operations, and digital experience teams.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Relevant study areas include business, economics, finance, marketing, data analytics, information systems, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, synthesis, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Coursework or project experience in product management, product strategy, marketing, analytics, data science, user experience, or technology.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, SQL, or similar analytics and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, experimentation, A/B testing, or measurement strategies.
• Experience presenting insights and recommendations, conducting research, or developing business recommendations.
• Interest in financial services, member experience, human-centered design, and the relationship between strategy, analytics, product management, and AI.
