Senior Project Manager, Traffic Lead

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex engineering projects while managing quality, schedules, budgets, profitability, and resources.
• Serve as a principal client contact and support proposals, pursuits, interviews, account growth, and other business development activities.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, including Project Managers and technical staff.
• Lead traffic engineering studies and design packages covering signals, signing, pavement markings, and traffic control plans.
• Oversee traffic impact, operational, safety, and corridor analyses, including technical reports, signal timing, coordination, intersection improvements, and multimodal accommodations.
• Coordinate work across roadway, drainage, structures, traffic operations, and planning disciplines while overseeing QA/QC, risk management, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state or states required to support project work.
• At least 8 years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Experience managing complex projects, leading multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience mentoring staff, guiding Project Managers, and supervising teams of approximately 5–7 employees.
• Strong business development, communication, leadership, prioritization, and multitasking skills; ability to work Monday–Friday with overtime flexibility as needed.
