Location: Belvidere, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role with occasional travel.

Salary: $99,500–$149,200 USD annually, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term variable incentives.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, deployment, training, coaching, and execution of lean continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support production operations in developing and executing lean improvement plans and kaizens.
  • Facilitate kaizens to improve site metrics and achieve strategy deployment goals.
  • Train, develop, motivate, and lead facility lean professionals.
  • Deploy standardized CI tools, methodologies, practices, processes, and metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and multiple facilities to deliver business objectives and eliminate waste.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least five years of lean continuous improvement implementation experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using Toyota Production System, Danaher Business System, or Shingo Prize methodology.
  • Strong project leadership, problem-solving, communication, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior management and collaborate across multiple sites and functions.
  • Ability to work in high-mix, low-volume and high-volume, low-mix production environments.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Line operations experience in production, supply chain, materials, sourcing, distribution, logistics, planning, quality, or service.
  • Experience with international companies, matrix organizations, demand flow principles, or PFEP methodology.
  • Understanding of financial measurements and goals in a lean enterprise.
