Lean Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee, United States; onsite, full-time position. Requires 10% domestic travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $75,100–$120,200 per year

What you will do

• Implement the Lean Continuous Improvement roadmap by training associates in 5S, Lean methods, and improvement tools.
• Facilitate Kaizen events focused on eliminating process waste and improving manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping operations.
• Coach and mentor team leaders and associates on continuous improvement practices.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify bottlenecks, evaluate changes, and measure business and process performance.
• Manage the improvement project pipeline, prepare cost-benefit analyses, and recommend project priorities to management.
• Document findings, present solutions, recommend permanent process changes, and train associates on implemented methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering.
• At least 3 years of Lean Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience leading Kaizen events, conducting time studies, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, 5S, A3 thinking, PDCA, and value stream analysis.
• Strong data collection and statistically significant analysis skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables and charts, nested IF statements, and macros.
• Project management, presentation, and PowerPoint skills.
