Fund Accountant (Private Markets)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; candidates must be I-9 eligible

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 base, plus bonus and equity eligibility

hirify.global is building an operating system for private markets, enabling wealth advisors and their clients to access, transact in, and manage private market investments.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day operations across fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting, and cash management.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, capital account statements, and investor-level allocations.
• Interpret limited partnership agreements, subscription documents, and side letters to apply economic terms to allocations, waterfalls, and fee calculations.
• Coordinate with banking, legal, audit, and tax service providers to support fund sponsors and investors.
• Partner with product and engineering to scope, test, and implement workflow automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support fundraising, diligence, investor relations, compliance documentation, and special projects.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and eligible for I-9 employment.
• 2–3+ years of experience in fund administration, private markets, fintech, or finance-oriented professional services.
• Familiarity with private-market fund accounting, administration concepts, and reporting requirements.
• Experience working in a regulated and supervised industry, with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability and willingness to lead complex initiatives and tasks.

Nice to have

• CPA or CFA certification, or meaningful progress toward either.
• Public accounting experience in alternative investments or financial services.
• Experience with fund accounting platforms or platform migrations.
• Comfort with SQL, advanced Excel, or AI-assisted tools for recurring analysis and reporting.
