Select Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role based in Metairie, Louisiana, or Austin, Dallas, or Houston, Texas

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate service activities for commercial lines clients with annual revenue of $5,000 or below.
• Serve as the primary client contact and develop strong, lasting relationships.
• Analyze insurance options, prepare recommendations, and implement competitive insurance programs.
• Manage renewals, negotiate new or renewed coverage, and prevent lapses in coverage.
• Explain policy changes, exclusions, coverage, and industry trends to clients.
• Assist with claims reporting, invoicing, collections, cancellations, and account performance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a commercial property and casualty insurance agency.
• Property and Casualty insurance license required.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with a high degree of accuracy.
• A college degree is preferred; an industry designation or willingness to complete industry courses is expected.
