Instructional Assistant Professor of Kinesiology

Location: Laredo, Texas, United States; regular on-campus attendance and face-to-face workplace interactions required

What you will do

• Teach 15 semester credit hours per semester in undergraduate kinesiology courses.
• Teach subjects such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, athletic training, adapted physical activity, and other kinesiology courses.
• Deliver course content in in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Provide student review sessions and support student learning.
• Contribute service to the college, university, and local community.
• Accommodate evening and weekend classes when required by scheduling and student demand.

Requirements

• Earned PhD in Exercise Science or a related Kinesiology field.
• At least 18 graduate hours in the desired discipline.
• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience.
• Ability to attend regularly on campus in Laredo and participate in face-to-face workplace interactions.

• NSCA CPT or CSCS certification.
