Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

What you will do

• Support the head coach with team administration, practices, conditioning workouts, and student-athlete academic progress.
• Coach and instruct women's volleyball student-athletes under the direction of the head coach.
• Recruit and scout prospective athletes from high schools, junior colleges, and community colleges, and recommend candidates to the head coach.
• Coordinate team travel, competitive schedules, practices, transportation, camps, clinics, fundraising, booster events, and public relations activities.
• Maintain recruiting databases, rosters, opponent files, and other athletic department records.
• Enforce student-athlete conduct standards and comply with NAIA, conference, and institutional rules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least one year of high school, collegiate, or higher-level coaching and playing experience.
• General knowledge of NAIA and NCAA rules, plus proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
• Ability to travel, work beyond normal office hours, maintain confidentiality, and work cooperatively with others.
• Texas or Arkansas Class C vehicle operator's license, or ability to obtain one within 30 days; acceptable driving record and van safety training are required.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, standing, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and active participation in practices and workouts. FERPA and HIPAA training may be required.
