Project Management Analyst II (SAP)

Location: Oakland, California, United States; site visits and field office interactions may be required, with travel limited to less than 10%.

Salary: $83,200–$122,700 per year.

What you will do

• Manage the lifecycle of moderate-to-large-scale projects in line with established project management standards.
• Track progress against baselines, prepare leadership updates, and facilitate milestone reviews.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, then develop mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate project data and reporting across SAP-integrated environments and enterprise systems.
• Perform portfolio tracking, resource scheduling analysis, and status reporting using project management tools and Excel.
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and support data-driven decisions in a matrix organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or portfolio operations.
• Proven experience using SAP for project accounting, resource tracking, or portfolio management.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise project management and resource scheduling platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, report generation, and complex formulas.
• Strong risk management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and matrix collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in construction, engineering, or heavy industrial project environments.
• Ability to work independently while escalating issues appropriately.
