Senior HVAC/R Systems / Field Test Technician (HVAC/R)

What you will do

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, service, and maintain HVAC/R systems, refrigeration equipment, compressors, display cases, and ice machines.
• Perform laboratory and field testing to evaluate system performance, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
• Install, configure, program, and maintain HVAC/R controls, building management systems, and refrigeration control systems.
• Set up and troubleshoot communication networks, control-system connectivity, Modbus communications, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and monitoring equipment.
• Develop test plans, testing methods, custom test fixtures, and technical documentation for product validation and engineering projects.
• Analyze system and test data, provide technical support and training, and collaborate with engineering, customer, and project teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration cycles, controls, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration, building management systems, HVAC/R controls, data acquisition, instrumentation, and testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, piping diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, networking concepts, and communication protocols.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-support skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and travel as needed.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
