Process Engineer L2 (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products using lean manufacturing principles.
• Conduct process capability studies, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions for process deviations.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, flowcharts, SOPs, work instructions, and other process documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams on process integration and issue resolution.
• Identify improvements that reduce waste, improve cycle times, and increase operational efficiency.
• Specify or modify equipment, monitor process KPIs, support NPI activities, and train production staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and quality standards, including ISO systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and project-prioritization skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or PRO/II.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
