Process Technology Engineer (Chemical Engineering)

Location: On-site manufacturing environment with regular interaction in production areas; support for a 24/7 operation may require phone or on-site assistance outside normal working hours.

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually, plus a performance-related bonus plan.

What you will do

• Improve manufacturing processes to increase quality, yield, reliability, productivity, and supply performance.
• Develop, qualify, scale up, and launch new products and chemistries for semiconductor and electronics applications.
• Investigate rejected batches, nonconforming materials, blocked inventory, and manufacturing issues, then recommend corrective actions.
• Manage process, product, specification, validation, change-control, and material-disposition documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Product Management, Sales, Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Supply Chain, and Capital Projects.
• Support process safety, equipment specification, regulatory compliance, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science, or a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in process development or technical support in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical data, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Spanish required.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to provide support outside normal working hours for a 24/7 operation when required.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
