Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster (Insurance)

Location: Effingham, Illinois and surrounding areas; full-time field work within the territory

Base salary: $77,600–$106,700 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Investigate assigned property claims and determine applicable policy coverage.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims according to policy provisions and liability.
• Contact insureds, claimants, and other relevant parties to gather information and explain the claims process.
• Complete physical and virtual inspections of damaged property.
• Evaluate damage and prepare written estimates.
• Use virtual claims software and drone technology for property and roof inspections.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Maintain the appropriate adjuster licenses required by the states in which the business operates.
• Property Field representatives must obtain a Part 107 drone license within 5 months of starting and pass the exam within 3 attempts.
• Ability to perform full-time field work in Effingham, Illinois and surrounding areas.
• Availability to work beyond normal business hours when business needs require.
• Availability for catastrophic duty when called upon.
