Maintenance Electrician (Industrial Machinery)

What you will do

• Install power-supply wiring, conduit, electrical apparatus, and connections for industrial machines and equipment.
• Install and maintain electrical systems for robots, conveyors, programmable controllers, and other automated machinery.
• Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, relays, switches, wiring, cables, and printed circuit boards.
• Replace motor bearings, rewire motors, and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine components.
• Use robot controllers, teach pendants, and programmable controllers to operate equipment, test malfunctions, and verify repairs.
• Coordinate with other maintenance workers to diagnose equipment failures and complete assigned duties reliably and on time.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent education from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Electrical certifications or licensing required to perform the job duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear regularly while performing the role.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Must work on site in Laconia, New Hampshire, United States.
