What you will do

• Design and implement control software for automated sorting, assembly, and inspection machines.
• Develop, enhance, and test software systems and applications, including cloud-based and internet-related tools.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on reliable solutions for high-volume manufacturing.
• Integrate automation machines with MES software and manufacturing process flows.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including unit testing and release.
• Create technical design and user-level documentation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on programming and debugging skills in C# and C++.
• Experience designing large multi-threaded or multi-tasking software systems.
• Experience with object-oriented design and programming, motion control, and data acquisition systems.
• Experience with computer vision and image processing; Windows and Unix development environments.
• Experience with Cognex VisionPro and machine learning is desirable.
